In the summer of 2022, I accepted in invitation to help out with a fundraiser for the Alexandra Marine & General Hospital Foundation’s “White Table Dinner”, an event where everyone wears white. If you know me, you might know that white is probably not a colour (or is it a shade?) that I should ever wear while I’m eating\/drinking.<\/p>\n

You might be able to understand my trepidation at picking up a glass of red wine from our table. I’m not generally a big wine drinker, but I’m so glad I tried this one. It was delicious.<\/p>\n

I was pleasantly surprised to find it came from a newer winery just outside of Goderich. Obviously, that meant a Boomer and Milli adventure and about a week later we made our way out to the beautiful property of 2nd Streetlight Estate Winery<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

We’re fans and we think you will be too.<\/p>\n

Sahadev Banejee<\/strong> is the owner and today we’re going to talk about this Winnipeg native’s, dream of owning a winery and how he and his family ended up in, and fell in love with Goderich and Huron County and all the ways that family, friends and wine … make life good.<\/p>\n
