Join the IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s, Canada’s largest fundraiser supporting dementia care, in over 150 communities across the country

  • This year's event is happening on Saturday, May 30 at Lakeside Park in Kingsville and Sunday, May 31 at the Ford Test Track in Windsor
  • "We walk to share hope with people living with dementia and their caregivers. We walk to make sure vital programs, services, and education are available in our communities. Shake off the winter chill and join us for an unforgettable night of music and dining. Join the Essex Vocal Express at the Leamington Portuguese Club on May 30th for a night of gourmet food and four-part harmony. We encourage everyone to come out to this fundraising dinner and show to ring in the spring! Doors open at 5:30, with dinner at 6 pm. Show to follow.
Alongside the exciting, world-class sounds of our hosts and headliners: the Essex Vocal Express and the Back Stage Pass quartet, take in the diverse talents of our three guest performers: stand-up comedian Curtis Coleman, Jon Brett bringing some acoustic comedy, and lighting up the ivories is the talented composer, arranger, pianist, Roger Hewett. It’s a cabaret-style evening designed to dazzle the senses and celebrate our local talent.
"Being members of the Barbershop Harmony Society is a rewarding experience in so many good ways," says a representative for the chapter. "Hosting fundraising events like this provides the opportunity to expand our community outreach and encourage public support of our chapter through event sponsorship or donations to our Community Legacy Fund. These events are key to our vision of preserving this amazing art form and ensuring barbershop harmony remains integral to the area’s musical community for another 80 years."
