For one weekend, we are restoring the town to one of its most lively decades: the 1920s. This event will feature live music, period actors and performances, guided tours, an outdoor movie theatre, speakeasies, and exhibit displays.</p>

<p>Saturday, August 22, 2026. 12pm - 4pm.  The Museum Volunteer Group will be hosting a fundraising yard sale at the Historic Duff-Baby House. Stop by and browse a selection of household goods and unique finds. All proceeds go towards the Museum Volunteer Group. Best of all, the Duff-Baby House will be open for tours from 12-4pm so you can explore the house with your new found treasures. If you have any gently used items (no clothing) you would like to donate for the yard sale, please contact Museum Windsor at: wmuseum@citywindsor.ca.</p>

<p>The Village Resource Centre located at 108 Talbot Road East in Wheatley is hosting a Car Barn Chicken Dinner to raise funds for their Teaching Kitchen Project.  This non-profit organization uses its space to offer a community grocery store, a food assistance program, a community event venue and professional office space sharing and many life-skills training programs.  The kitchen will be a certified space to allow participants to learn about meal planning, grocery shopping on a budget, and meal preparation and food preservation.</p>
