What was the #1 most played song in country radio this year? Well, it all depends on what chart you’re looking at.<\/p>\n

In the US alone, it was Morgan Wallen “Chasin’ You.” (The highest ranked Canadian song in the US for the year-ebd\u00a0 was “Somebody Like That” by Tenille Arts)<\/p>\n

In Canada alone, it was Justin Moore “Why We Drink.” (The highest year-end rank for a Canadian here at home goes to Tyler Joe Miller’s “Pillow Talkin'”)<\/p>\n

No matter which chart you look at, it was another big year for Luke Combs who had the most Top 40 country hits. It was also a huge year for country songs that crossed over to the pop charts, especially for a couple of women who broke records. Maren Morris broke the record for the most consecutive weeks at #1 on the Billboard chart for a solo female artist. That record was then broken by Gabby Barret’s “I Hope.”<\/p>\n
