{"id":135,"date":"2018-12-17T21:04:55","date_gmt":"2018-12-17T21:04:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/briwebapp.net\/cjwffm\/?p=135"},"modified":"2019-02-11T10:57:54","modified_gmt":"2019-02-11T15:57:54","slug":"most-requested-gifts-for-children","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/briwebapp.net\/cjwffm\/blogs\/middays\/2018\/12\/most-requested-gifts-for-children\/","title":{"rendered":"Most Requested Gifts For Children"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A new gift-giving survey asked 2,000 parents what their kids have been asking for this year.\u00a0 Check out the results&#8230;<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The top ten categories aren&#8217;t quite as dominated by tech stuff as we expected, and the top four have a couple of surprises!<\/p>\n<p>1.\u00a0 Computer games.<br \/>\n2.\u00a0 Legos.<br \/>\n3.\u00a0 Clothes.\u00a0 Especially for older kids, in middle school or high school.<br \/>\n4.\u00a0 Books.<br \/>\n5.\u00a0 A new phone.<br \/>\n6.\u00a0 Video game consoles.<br \/>\n7.\u00a0 Board games.<br \/>\n8.\u00a0 iPads and tablets.<br \/>\n9. \u00a0A new laptop.<br \/>\n10.\u00a0 DVDs and digital movies.<\/p>\n<p>A few classic Christmas gifts just missed the top 10;\u00a0 bikes made the list at #11 with Nerf toys at #12, action figures at #14 and scooters at #18.<\/p>\n<div class=\"video-shortcode embed-container\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" width=\"620\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/vby2AiPd-Ys\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>Interestingly, toys in a general sense, did not make the top 10.\u00a0 But if you&#8217;re looking for something in particular, these toys have made many a top 10 list in that category:<\/p>\n<p>1. WowWee Fingerlings HUGS<br \/>\n2. L.O.L. Surprise! Bigger Surprise!<br \/>\n3. Hatchimals<br \/>\n4. furReal critters (Munchin\u2019 Rex, Rock-A-Too and more)<br \/>\n5. Sesame Street Playskool Friends Let&#8217;s Dance Elmo<br \/>\n6. Imaginext Jurassic World Jurassic Rex<br \/>\n7. Harry Potter Hogwarts Great Hall LEGO Building Kit<br \/>\n8. Barbie DreamHouse<br \/>\n9. PJMasks Play Set<br \/>\n10. Really Rad Robots Mibro R\/C Robot<\/p>\n<p>**One local retail worker and Windsor&#8217;s Country listener says &#8220;Poopsie Surprise Unicorn&#8221; toys have been in high demand at her store.
