{"id":14613,"date":"2021-05-20T08:45:22","date_gmt":"2021-05-20T12:45:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/briwebapp.net\/cjwffm\/?p=14613"},"modified":"2021-05-19T11:43:11","modified_gmt":"2021-05-19T15:43:11","slug":"old-dominion-missed-the-road-and-each-other","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/briwebapp.net\/cjwffm\/blogs\/country-music-news\/2021\/05\/old-dominion-missed-the-road-and-each-other\/","title":{"rendered":"Old Dominion Missed The Road&#8230; And Each Other"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"video-shortcode embed-container\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" width=\"610\" height=\"355\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/7Ao9lFp4w0E\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>Old Dominion announced their headlining We Are Old Dominion: Live at the Ballpark Tour, set to launch on July 17th in Tennessee.<\/p>\n<p>They&#8217;ve tapped Scotty McCreery, Randy Houser, Matt Stell, Blanco Brown, Caitlyn Smith and Walker County to open the shows.<\/p>\n<p>The band has only revealed seven shows, however additional dates are expected to be added.<\/p>\n<p>Via a statement Old Dominion said,<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cThis is literally the moment we\u2019ve all been waiting for! We\u2019ve all gone through it the last year. Now, it\u2019s time to get back together, forget everything for a few hours, and have a great time.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Tickets go on sale Friday, May 21st at 10 am local, the same day they release a new single called \u201cI Was On a Boat That Day.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Brad Tursi and Matthew Ramsey from Old Dominion said they missed the stage and the fans over the past year due to Covid, but they have also missed each other.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;What I missed, which comes back immediately when we all get together is just the laughter. Everybody equally cracks me up. (Matthew) Yeah, we laugh a lot in this group and that was sorely missed.
