He reported today and will be staying throughout the week, until next Thursday, however, this isn\u2019t Garth\u2019s first go in the Major Leagues. Back in the \u201990s and early 2000s, Brooks had stints with the Padres, Mets, and the Kansas City Royals.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is\u00a0the 20th anniversary of Garth\u2019s Teammates For Kids charity,\u201d Brooks said, via\u00a0<em>Tribune-Review Sports<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The charity calls on professional athletes to donate based on their performance levels in their sport.
