Thanks to modern technology there are a lot of ways for artists to capture the lyrics to the music they create.<\/p>\n
But Cody Johnson said when it comes to writing a song, for him, there\u2019s nothing like doing it old school.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019ve tried to write songs on a computer and type and it\u2019s just so frustrating\u2026I wind up with a pen and a paper. You know, I like being able to erase and scratch out and then later look back at the page and you can see how the song was written. It\u2019s just too nice and neat on the computer for me I\u2019d like to look back and see that product of where we scribbled out lines and rewrote lines and then wound up back at the same line\u2026it\u2019s pretty cool. I like having something tangible to hold on to. I\u2019ve got all my old songs that I\u2019ve written down in my safe\u2026so, hopefully someday somebody will look at that and think it\u2019s really cool.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
