{"id":19285,"date":"2022-04-29T14:00:01","date_gmt":"2022-04-29T18:00:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/briwebapp.net\/cjwffm\/?p=19285"},"modified":"2022-04-29T09:14:45","modified_gmt":"2022-04-29T13:14:45","slug":"how-the-beers-on-me-collaboration-came-together","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/briwebapp.net\/cjwffm\/blogs\/country-music-news\/2022\/04\/how-the-beers-on-me-collaboration-came-together\/","title":{"rendered":"How The &#8220;Beers On Me&#8221; Collaboration Came Together"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dierks Bentley recently topped the country charts with his latest song, \u201cBeers On Me,\u201d which features Hardy and BRELAND.<\/p>\n<p>Dierks said he couldn\u2019t be more thrilled with the collaboration, even though he found out about BRELAND during a break from recording in the studio.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cIt\u2019s really been a dream to get to work with Hardy and BRELAND, and it came about so organically. I wrote \u2018Beers On Me\u2019 with Hardy and some other people, and I just asked Hardy if he\u2019d take a verse on it. It seemed like a natural song for a duet. But the cool thing is I was in the studio working on the third verse, and I took a break, and I was reading an article in the paper about a guy named BRELAND. And it just hit me maybe I should invite this guy in to sing the third verse. And so, I got his number and called him, and he came in the next day. He rewrote the verse entirely \u2013 totally different verse \u2013 made the song a hundred times better and then sang on it with the most beautiful voice I\u2019ve ever heard.
