{"id":20181,"date":"2022-06-24T08:45:23","date_gmt":"2022-06-24T12:45:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/briwebapp.net\/cjwffm\/?p=20181"},"modified":"2022-06-24T06:29:53","modified_gmt":"2022-06-24T10:29:53","slug":"jimmie-allen-loves-bowling","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/briwebapp.net\/cjwffm\/blogs\/country-music-news\/2022\/06\/jimmie-allen-loves-bowling\/","title":{"rendered":"Jimmie Allen LOVES Bowling"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The pandemic was a good thing for Jimmie Allen and his bowling game.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/features\/jimmie-allen-billboard-cover-story-2022-interview-1235104499\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">In an interview with &#8220;Billboard&#8221;<\/a>, Jimmie said he was\u00a0introduced to the sport by Dodgers outfielder Mookie Betts and former NFL player Cortland Finnegan.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;We&#8217;d spend five days a week, seven, eight hours at a time at the bowling alley.&#8221; He&#8217;s now officially addicted. Last month he left early from his own industry party celebrating two Number One records . . . so he could go bowling.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>He belongs to five leagues and keeps three different sets of bowling balls for playing at home or on the road.<\/p>\n<p>His league average is 215, and although he&#8217;s never rolled a perfect 300, he did get so close one time that it STILL hurts to talk about it.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;It was all strikes until the 10th frame. I was sick for a week.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>His final score was 288. And this is not just a passing fancy. In January he plans to try out for the Professional Bowlers Association.<\/p>\n<p>So how does he do this while maintaining a singing career, and being married with three kids?<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;I only sleep about three-and-a-half hours a night.
