Among Carrie Underwood’s three nominations at the CMA Awards on Wednesday, November 9th, is the evening’s biggest honour, Entertainer of the Year.<\/p>\n
She is nominated alongside Luke Combs, Miranda Lambert, Chris Stapleton and Morgan Wallen.<\/p>\n
“Obviously, that\u2019s such a tough category to be in, \u2018cause there\u2019s just so, I don\u2019t even want to call it competition, there\u2019s just so many hard-working artists out there that are just you know pouring themselves and their time and their energy and their artistry into what they do. Obviously just to even be in the final category is just absolutely amazing and hopefully, above all, we can all just remember that it\u2019s a celebration of a great year in country music and in our careers as artists, so we\u2019ll just see what happens, but definitely excited to be in that category.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
Carrie is also nominated for Female Vocalist of the Year and Musical Event of the Year for \u201cIf I Didn\u2019t Love You\u201d with Jason Aldean.<\/p>\n
She is also set to perform during the show.<\/p>\n
