Shania Twain has opened up about her 2018 throat surgery which gave her back her career but not without a lasting reminder.<\/p>\n
She recently told The Graham Norton Show,<\/p>\n
“The operation was very invasive, and I’ve got a big scar that I am proud of. I’m very happy to have a scar rather than no voice. The surgery was a miracle, and I am so grateful. Going back into a studio after the operation was a discovery and I was re-learning voice “I can get very loud and now I can swear really loudly!”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
The superstar was diagnosed with Lyme Disease which damaged the nerves of her vocal cords.<\/p>\n
TMZ reports that over the years, Shania had multiple throat surgeries but the one in 2018 was the most worrisome.<\/p>\n
In other Shania news, she posed “tastefully topless” for the cover of her single, “Waking Up Dreaming” and talked about why she did it.<\/p>\n
