Luke Bryan is returning to American Idol for Season 22.<\/p>\n
The country singer will join Katy Perry and Lionel Richie for his seventh season of the reality TV show.<\/p>\n
He told Taste of Country…<\/p>\n
“My future with Idol [will continue] as long as the show is growing and popping, and we feel like we’re doing beautiful work as a show. As long as the vibe feels like we’re moving onward and upward \u2014 and we’re getting emotionally moved, we’re telling the stories of kids and the American spirit, and it’s a show that kids [and] parents can cry and laugh together and have fun [watching] \u2014 it’s gonna be a tough show for me and Lionel and Katy to walk away from.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
Meanwhile, Luke took to social media to give a quick rundown of his musical journey from age 14 to being a judge on “American Idol”.<\/p>\n
