{"id":25569,"date":"2023-08-02T05:55:13","date_gmt":"2023-08-02T09:55:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/briwebapp.net\/cjwffm\/?p=25569"},"modified":"2023-08-02T05:15:21","modified_gmt":"2023-08-02T09:15:21","slug":"luke-bryan-meets-7-year-old-whos-fighting-cancer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/briwebapp.net\/cjwffm\/blogs\/country-music-news\/2023\/08\/luke-bryan-meets-7-year-old-whos-fighting-cancer\/","title":{"rendered":"Luke Bryan Meets 7-year-old Who&#8217;s Fighting Cancer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Luke Bryan\u00a0had a show in Denver on Saturday, July 29 and brought a very brave little girl backstage, seven-year-old Mary Stegmueller.<\/p>\n<p>She&#8217;s been fighting terminal brain cancer since she was four and just started her 43rd round of radiation this week.<\/p>\n<p>She&#8217;s been a huge fan of Luke&#8217;s for years, but almost didn&#8217;t get to see him in concert this time, because she can&#8217;t stand for too long.<\/p>\n<p>Her parents didn&#8217;t think they could take her until an anonymous donor bought out an entire suite for them.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kdvr.com\/news\/local\/northglenn-girl-with-terminal-cancer-hoping-for-chance-to-meet-luke-bryan\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Luke heard she&#8217;d be there<\/a> and invited her backstage before the show to hang out. Her whole family got to go too.<\/p>\n<div class=\"video-shortcode embed-container\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Facebook video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/plugins\/video.php?href=https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/photo\/?fbid=10102202717453563\" width=\"500\" height=\"618\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>Mary had actually met him once before when he gave her a quick hug at a concert two years ago.<\/p>\n<p>Her mom says she felt like they were &#8220;BFFs&#8221; after that and wanted to hang out more, so, Luke made it happen.<\/p>\n<p>Back in December, he also sent her a video message on Christmas Day.
