Jake Owen hopped on Instagram and encouraged fans who are thinking about quitting drinking to DO IT.<\/p>\n
He’s been sober just under two years and says life is great.<\/p>\n
He posted a long message on his Instagram Story and said it was his 689th day without booze, so, next month will be two years.<\/p>\n
He said he didn’t have a “drinking problem” but, he was “just being an *expletive*” and a person he didn’t want to be.<\/p>\n
“There’s [probably] someone reading this that I affected in my days of being an idiot, and I can never take that back. I said things I shouldn’t, as well as did things I would never do sober.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
He said if you’re considering quitting drinking, you should because “life is so much better.”<\/p>\n
