He told us this:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cYou know, it was awesome. You know seeing that Tracy had heard my cover and that she liked it. Was so awesome. You know, I think you know when you\u2019re an artist and you cover someone\u2019s song you always want the validation of you know, the songwriter or the original artist, you kind of want that you know approval.
