Reba McEntire has graced us with a couple of Christmas collections, including 1995\u2019s Merry Christmas to You and 2006\u2019s Secret of Giving: A Christmas Collection, as well as last year\u2019s compilation, Ultimate Christmas Collection.<\/p>\n
She recalls one of her favourite Christmas memories when she was a young girl in Oklahoma.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe funniest thing I can always remember about Christmastime is my older brother Pake, when we were kids at home, he\u2019d always be the first one to jump out of bed and run down the hall, and he\u2019d just run down the hall with his underwear on,\u201d she says. \u201cAnd he\u2019d say, \u2018If y\u2019all don\u2019t hurry up and get up and get in here, I\u2019m opening all the presents by myself.\u2019 But he knew it was a standing rule we all had to be in there before anybody could open up a present, but I can still see Pake running down the hall.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
Meanwhile, when Jordan Davis was younger, he and his brother Jacob asked for a specific present together.<\/p>\n
\u201cMe and my brother asked for go-karts together, and I was actually worried that we weren\u2019t going to get \u2018em, because I knew my mom probably thought we were going to kill ourselves,\u201d says the Louisiana native. \u201cWe woke up Christmas morning and me and Jacob, we run into the living room and don\u2019t see a go-kart. I remember being like sad opening presents, and then my dad tells me he thought he heard some reindeer in the backyard. So, we jet to the back of the house and there\u2019s two blue-and-white go-karts in the backyard. So, that\u2019s the one I always remember. That was a great present.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
Another favourite Christmas present Jordan received had two wheels and a peg.<\/p>\n
\u201cMy favorite Christmas present growing up is one I received, I don\u2019t know, I was probably, I don\u2019t know, 7 or 8 years old \u2013 it was my first-ever bike with pegs on it. You remember the pegs where you used to be able to carry people on the back of your bike? It was a Dyno GT, it had black wheels, it was silver. I will never forget that gift.
