A rumour is floating around on social media that Reba McEntire once called Taylor Swift an “entitled little brat” straight to her face.<\/p>\n
Like most of the “news” on social media, it’s garbage.<\/p>\n
The story came from a fake news site, one that peppers in just enough silliness to call itself “satire.”<\/p>\n
They claimed Reba checked the jumbotron while singing the anthem at the Super Bowl, and saw Taylor drinking and being disrespectful.<\/p>\n
Most people on Facebook just saw the headline, which seemed real enough. It didn’t say anything about satire, so Reba felt the need to call the site out on Instagram.<\/p>\n
She said it’s complete nonsense.<\/p>\n
“Please don\u2019t believe everything you see on the Internet. I did not say this.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
She said Taylor is a “wonderful artist” and a “strong role model,” who’s “done so much good for so many people, and the music industry.”<\/p>\n
