Fast becoming known for her craft of songwriting, she\u2019ll be sharing even more of her personal story on her sophomore album.<\/p>\n
Megan explains how she goes about writing a song.<\/p>\n
\u201cWell, I wrote my first song when I was 19. And then I didn\u2019t really start consistently writing until 2020. Usually, when I go into a writer\u2019s room, I bring the idea because we\u2019re writing for me. So other writers usually like the artists to like, kind of know what they want to write about. I try to come up with the ideas, and they\u2019re really based on personal experiences.\u00a0I think because no one taught me how to write songs. It just is authentic. When I go into a writer\u2019s room. I\u2019m not trying to write the next hit. I\u2019m just writing what is relevant to my life and making it as good as possible.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
