Riley Green is heading to Australia this week for two tour dates in Brisbane, one in Sydney and one in Melbourne.<\/p>\n
This will be Riley\u2019s first trip to Australia, and he was asked if he plans on participating in a big tradition down under known as a \u201cshoey,\u201d\u00a0where you shotgun a beer out of someone\u2019s shoe or boot.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019ve sworn that I wouldn\u2019t do a shoey. Now that being said, if we go down there and the crowd\u2019s rowdy and we\u2019re havin\u2019 a good time, who knows. I\u2019ve done things I\u2019ve swore I wouldn\u2019t several times before. I\u2019ve never been to Australia. I knew we sold out one of the shows like very quickly, so we added another one. And we\u2019re doing several cities down there, so I\u2019m excited about going. I know there\u2019s a lot of country music fans there. But you know, I\u2019ve been surprised in such a good way everywhere I\u2019ve been the last few years. We did Hyde Park in London. The biggest country music show they\u2019ve ever had there was my first show in London, in the UK. So, it\u2019s crazy to see these things happening in real time, how much this is really growing. And Australia, it sounds like it\u2019d kinda be my place.
