One of Justin Moore\u2019s favourite hobbies is cooking.<\/p>\n
He loves to try new recipes and often watches the Food Network for inspiration.<\/p>\n
However, Justin has struggled to duplicate some of his favourite family recipes.<\/p>\n
\u201cFried squash, like fresh squash. Southern thing, but I don\u2019t know how she does it. It\u2019s like soft, but crunchy, but it\u2019s just right. And I can\u2019t do it. I\u2019ve tried it, and I\u2019m, you know, overall I\u2019m probably a better cook than she is, but I just can\u2019t do that. So that one, and I make really good fried potatoes, but my grandmother, God rest, her soul, I don\u2019t know how she did it. I finally figured her gravy out, but the potatoes like, Kate\u2019ll go, \u2018These are good but they ain\u2019t your nannies.\u2019 I\u2019m like, I know! I know! I don\u2019t know what the deal is. I don\u2019t know if it was a certain skillet or\u2026 It was her is what it was.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
But would Justin ever consider putting all those recipes in a cookbook?<\/p>\n
\u201cYou know, that\u2019s a good idea. Do people still buy cookbooks, now that the internet is a thing? Do they? I would certainly be up for it. I\u2019ve not ever thought about it, but I think it would be somethin\u2019 that would be fun to do.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
