The Grammys were on last night and were filled with some amazing performances, and a bit of shock for some country fans.<\/p>\n
Mostly because Beyonc\u00e9 dominated the country section of the awards, even though she said that “Cowboy Carter” was NOT a country album. Well, the Grammys seem to disagree with her on that one.<\/p>\n

But to be fair, Beyonc\u00e9 also won ALBUM OF THE YEAR for “Cowboy Carter” as well. So, she kinda had to win the Best Country Album, right?<\/p>\n

Beyonc\u00e9 and Miley Cyrus won the award for Best Country Duo\/Group Performance, too. And a lot of fans also did NOT like the fact that they beat out Morgan Wallen and Post Malone.<\/p>\n
Here are the Grammy results in Country’s top four categories:<\/p>\n
1. Best Country Song goes to . . . “The Architect” by Kacey Musgraves.<\/p>\n
2. Best Country Album goes to . . . “Cowboy Carter” by Beyonc\u00e9. When Beyonc\u00e9 was accepting the award, she said, quote, “I think genre is a code word to keep us in our place as artists.”<\/p>\n
3. Best Country Solo Performance goes to . . . Chris Stapleton with “It Takes a Woman”.<\/p>\n
4. Best Country Duo\/Group Performance goes to . . . Beyonc\u00e9 and Miley Cyrus with “II Most Wanted”.<\/p>\n
