For most of their career, Rascal Flatts spent a lot of their summers on the road touring and away from their families.<\/p>\n
But now they\u2019re in a different stage of their career, where they don\u2019t have to be away all the time during the summer months.<\/p>\n
For\u00a0Jay DeMarcus, his perfect summer day would be spent time outside with his kids.<\/p>\n
\u201cBeing able to just spend it with my kids and watching them soak up every moment by the pool and happy, I mean, that\u2019s the best you can hope for. And we haven\u2019t gotten to do that a whole bunch because we spent most of our adult lives on the road.
