In case you missed it, a security guard at a Jelly Roll concert recently quit mid-show because his boss was mad that he helped a man in a wheelchair get a better view of the stage.<\/p>\n
The security guard’s name is Tony Demaree, and he was working security at the North Dakota State Fair when he let a fan in a wheelchair move in front of the barricade.<\/p>\n
Then his boss told him he was incompetent, so he tossed his vest and walked off the job right then.<\/p>\n
Since then, the moment has gone viral, and now Tony is finally speaking out about the incident.<\/p>\n
“My job was to keep that area clear. But if nobody’s complaining, and he’s not in the way . . . why not let him enjoy it? He deserves it.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
