Eric Church has always played by his own rules, and he just told an old story that backs it up.<\/p>\n
At one of his recent tour stops, he was telling the crowd why his shows are never routine.<\/p>\n
So, instead of saving “Springsteen” for the encore, which he almost always does, Eric played it halfway through the set.<\/p>\n
But before singing it, he told a story from his days touring with Kenny Chesney back in 2013.<\/p>\n
Eric did something that stunned Kenny.<\/p>\n
He told him he was going to play his most popular song FIRST, so, he opened with “Springsteen”.<\/p>\n
