He recorded the album in July 2017, at The Tragically Hip\u2019s studio in Bath, Ontario, just months before he passed away on October 17th of that year. His brother Patrick Downie said;<\/span><\/div>\n<blockquote><p><em><strong>\u201cThis won\u2019t be his last release, but these are the final ten songs Gord sang before he passed away.
