This is coming after <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/correspondence.premier.gov.on.ca\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Premier Doug Ford<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> scrutinized the Bank for raising interest rates at this pace. Without promises of holding rates in the future, the Bank is still concerned about rising inflation. <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/londonnewstoday.ca\/london\/news\/2023\/09\/06\/london-housing-market-remained-steady-in-august\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">London\u2019s housing market<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> has remained neutral in August. The Bank&#8217;s next announcement for overnight targets is October 25th.<\/span><\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Veltman trial update:<\/span><\/strong><b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> The jury for <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/londonnewstoday.ca\/london\/news\/2023\/09\/06\/jury-selected-veltman-trial-to-start-monday\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">the trial of Nathaniel Veltman<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> has been selected. 14 jurors were chosen to hear the trial but 12 will choose the verdict. On Tuesday during selection, Veltman pleaded not guilty. He has been charged with four counts of first degree murder and one count of attempted murder after he ran over the Afzeel family in a terror attack. The trial will begin on Monday the 11th in Windsor.<\/span><\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>LCBO ditches paper bags:<\/strong><\/span><b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> To create a more sustainable Ontario, the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lcbo.com\/en\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">LCBO<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> has got rid of paper bags from all its stores.
