Drivers will now be required to obtain a special pass in order to park overnight between the hours of 3am to 5am. The bylaw comes into effect today, and will continue until April 30, 2024. Special passes are issued 48 hours in advance and vehicles without a pass could be ticketed. <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/london.ca\/overnightparking\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Click here<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> to register for a pass. The Ford government introduced the tax cut back in June of 2022, and if passed cuts will continue. According to The <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.taxpayer.com\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Canadian Taxpayers Federation<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, two vehicle families will save an average of $500. Ontario will be releasing its <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.budget.canada.ca\/fes-eea\/2022\/home-accueil-en.html\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Fall Economic Statement<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> on Thursday.\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/londonnewstoday.ca\/london\/news\/2023\/10\/30\/stellantis-on-strike\">Unifor and Stellantis strike tentative deal:<\/a><\/strong><\/em> After a seven hour strike, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.stellantis.com\/en\">Stellantis<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unifor.org\/\">Unifor<\/a> members agreed on a tentative deal for its 8,200 workers. The deal which was announced on X entails a 20 per cent wage increase for production workers, and a 25 per cent increase for skilled workers. Full time workers will also receive a $10,000 signing bonus and a $4,000 bonus for part time workers. Unifor has ratified similar agreements with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ford.ca\/\">Ford<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gm.com\/\">General Motors<\/a> in October and said \u2018It demonstrated the strength of our union and provided your bargaining team\u2019.
