This Saturday, November 16, Santa Claus will be making his way through London, Ontario, in the 68th annual London Santa Claus Parade. Starting at 6 pm, this year\u2019s parade follows a new route, kicking off at Dundas &amp; Ontario St. and ending at Dundas &amp; Ridout St.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Theme: A Candy Christmas<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Prepare your sweet tooth because the parade will be decked out with dazzling candy floats, thousands of twinkling lights, and all of the candy-inspired decorations you could imagine! Enjoy live music from amazing performers, including the Tian Guo Marching Band, Golden Harps Steel Orchestra, Western\u2019s Marching Band, the Shelly Rastin Band, and the local favourite: Bobnoxious.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Feel free to bring non-perishable food donations and kick off the giving season with the London Food Bank. The London Performing Arts troupe will also be collecting donations along the parade route to support the parade\u2019s annual costs, and London Roofing is gathering teddy bears for the Salvation Army.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Can\u2019t make it in person? A walk\/run event that raises funds and awareness for pancreatic cancer. Brought to London for the first time by the Baker Centre for Pancreatic Cancer in partnership with Craig&#8217;s Cause Pancreatic Cancer Society, this impactful event began in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, and now spans 10 provinces.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Pancreatic cancer is a devastating diagnosis. With a survival rate of just 10% over five years, it ranks as the third leading cause of cancer deaths despite being the 11th most common cancer.
