Three Grammy Awards And Eighteen Number Ones
July 27, 2019 6:43 amKeith’s mom and dad had a convenience store and they put a sign in the window, looking for a guitar teacher for their talented youngest son. He was a good student, and he started entering local competitions, and did some acting for a local theatre company.
In 1992 he moved to the United States and found work as a session guitarist. He started a band called, “The Ranch”, which recorded an album. As a solo artist, he released his first North American LP in 1999, yielding his first number one hit, “But for the Grace of God”. Keith has gone on to score number one seventeen more times, earn three Grammy Awards, and owns the top Country song of the 2000’s decade, “Somebody Like You”.
