Singing Realtor
January 11, 2020 6:48 amTommy grew up in Arkansas, and was the youngest of seven children. He showed an early interest in music, and formed his first band while he was still in high school. He joined the military, and became a disc jockey for the American Forces Radio Network.
Tommy played with hank Williams Jr after he left the army, and he signed a record deal in 1965. “The Sounds of Goodbye” was his first single, released in 1968, and it just missed the top 40.
His biggest success came in 1969 with a song written by Larry Murray when Epic Records released, “Six White Horses”.
Tommy continues to tour and record, and works as a realtor in Tennessee.
Once in a while, he sang with his older brother, Johnny.
Join me next Saturday, January 18 at 9:20, for more with Tommy Cash!
