30 Years In The Making

Raul Malo, Ben Peeler, Robert Reynolds and Paul Deakin formed a band in Miami, Florida in 1989.  Their sound was a unique combination or Country, Latin and Rock.

Their first album was released in 1991, and over the next dozen years, five more albums followed, bringing the band world-wide recognition.

Their 1995 album, “Music for All Occasions”, included the single, “Here Comes the Rain”, which won the band a Grammy for Best Country Performance by a Duo or Group.  They have placed a total of fourteen singles on the Billboard Country Chart.

The band has split up and re-united more than once, but they continue to record.  Last November, to mark their thirtieth anniversary, they released, “Play the Hits”… an album of covers as a tribute to the artists who inspired the group.
