Touring Allows Dierks Bentley To Be A Big Kid

Dierks Bentley is a husband and a father to three kids – daughters Evie 16 and Jordan 14, and son Knox 11 – which requires some serious adulting on his part.

But he admits that his job as a country music singer still gives him a chance to be a big kid when he’s touring all over the world.

“When I get home, it’s a totally different reality that I wouldn’t trade for anything in the world. Hangin’ with Knox and my girls and doing the things we do, and seeing life through their eyes, it’s incredible. And it takes a man to do it. It’s not a boy’s game. It takes a man. But I love the juxtaposition to be able to be that man, but then also get on the road and act like I’m 13 years old and play video games all afternoon while I’m waitin’ for the fans to show up. So, that’s really a blessing to be able to do both.”
