
Dolly Parton Shares Public “Love Note” After Death Of Her Husband
March 7, 2025 10:30 amAfter the recent death of her husband Carl Dean, Dolly Parton took to Instagram to share a “love note” to her family, friends, and fans.
Dolly told Billboard in a 2023 interview that they initially bonded over music while listening to the car radio together on the day they met.
“I don’t remember what it was playing, but it was loud and it was rock ‘n roll.”
She dedicated her chart-topping 2023 album, Rockstar, to Carl because he “always loved” the genre.
“The harder [and] louder, the better.”
Dolly also shared a song on social media called ‘If You Hadn’t Been There” and dedicated it to Carl.
