Blake Shelton Doesn’t Want Anyone To Cover His Music

Blake Shelton and his wife, Gwen Stefani, were asked about cover songs, and he had a strong reaction.

Blake was talking about how one of his favourite No Doubt songs is a cover of Talk Talk’s “It’s My Life”. He said that he likes his wife’s version better.

But then that gave him pause. So, he laughed and said,

“I hope nobody ever remakes any of my music, because I know that will happen to me. People will be like, ‘Oh my God, [that’s] way better than Blake Shelton.'”
