Huber, Verdun (Age 71, Walkerton)

Verdun William Huber, of Walkerton passed away on Tuesday, January 15th, 2019 at age 71. Survived by his loving partner Liz MacKeand. Loving Father of Sheri Spriggs (Jeff) and Cory (Kandra) Huber. Beloved Grandpa of Madison (Xavier), Morgan, Alicia, Caitlin and Hailey. Dear Brother of Elaine Winter, Floral (Bryan) Morton, Eric (Kathie) Huber, Clarine (Paul) Schnurr, Delbert (Vicki) Huber, Elwain “Wain” Huber (Julie) and Chyrille (Paul) Lehman. Verdun will also be fondly remembered by Liz’s children Michael Vaughan (Heather), Kevin MacKeand (Jodie), Michelle MacKeand (Dan), Poppa to her grandchildren Josh, Justin, Zachery, Dawson, Hayden, Parker and Carter and siblings Shirley Hehn (Jim), Ruby Kee (Ken), Joan Hodgins (Wayne), Harvey Voisin (Ann), Lynda Hodgins (Brian), Audrey Beninger (Clare) and Donna Zettler (Rick) and missed by many nieces and nephews. Verdun was predeceased by his parents William and Alberta (nee Strauss) Huber, Liz’s parents August and Helen Voisin, her brothers Roy Voisin and Harold Voisin and her son BJ MacKeand.
Verdun’s family will receive relatives and friends from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 20, 2019 at the Cameron Funeral Home, Walkerton. A private family service will be held.
