Halpenny, Lois (Age 94, Listowel)

Lois HALPENNY of Listowel, peacefully on Thursday, August 22, 2019, at the age of 94. She was a member of the former Trowbridge United Church. Lois enjoyed farming along with her husband Cliff and they were the former owners of Cliff’s B.A./Gulf Service Centre and Restaurant. Lois cherished the time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Beloved wife of the late Cliff Halpenny who predeceased her in 1992.  Loving mother of Bill Halpenny and Cheryl and Arnold Davison. Special grandmother of Lori-Ann, Duane, Kimberley, Carolee and John and great-grandmother of Charlotte, Harper, Davis, Lacey, Charles and Harrison. Sister of Carl Gibson. Fondly remembered by Harry Young and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Mervyn and Elsie (Binning) Gibson and her brother Jim Gibson and his wife Gladys.
Relatives and friends are invited to share their memories at Brenneman Funeral Home, 141 John Street, Atwood, on Monday, August 26, 2019, from 10 until 10:45 AM. The funeral service to celebrate Lois’ life will follow at 11 AM with Pastor Brian Hymers officiating. Interment in Elma Centre Cemetery, Atwood. 
As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to a charity of one’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
