Bob’s pride and joy were two things: his work and his family. As a carpenter for 45 years, there is evidence of his skill, expertise and passion for building all over Bruce County and Southwestern Ontario. He loved his work and said he never had a day he went to work when he wasn’t happy. And then there is his family – a sucker for spoiling and having their fingers wrapped around his, all his grandbabies knew that where Papa went, candy followed. His family knew that they could always count on him for guidance, advice, and unwavering support. He also had a passion for helping his community as demonstrated by his longstanding commitment to the Lions Club, Knights of Columbus, and St. Joseph’s Aid Society.
A Memorial Service to celebrate Robert’s life will be held at Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Tuesday, August 13, 2019, at 1 PM. Reception to follow. Interment has taken place.
