Bosma, Siep (Age 77, Blyth)

Sijbren (“Siep”) BOSMA of Blyth, on Saturday, November 16, 2019, God called him home  in his 78th year. Siep was born in Oldehove, Netherlands on December 23, 1941 and came to Canada in 1980 with his beloved wife, the late Anne Harlaar (2005). Siep was a proud father of Janet and Rob Kootstra of Clinton and Clarence and Becky Bosma of Blyth. He was also a dear Opa to Lauren, Hayden, Briony, Matthew, Cassidy, Addison and Emmeline. Siep was predeceased by his father, Klaas (1990), mother Antje de Boer (1948), and step-mother Sijtske Buffinga (2010). He was brother to the late Bindert (2017) and Aaltje (1983), Berend (2004) and Corrie, Anneke and Jitze Rinsma, and Klaasand  Yolande, all of the Netherlands. Siep is also fondly remembered by the Harlaar family.

Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Thursday, November 21 at the Blyth Christian Reformed Church. A service of remembrance will also be held at the Blyth Christian Reformed Church on Friday, November 22, 2019 at 11:00 a.m.  Private family internment at Blyth Union Cemetery.  As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Clinton Public Hospital Foundation or the Huron Christian School Capital Campaign would be greatly appreciated.
