Clarence “Sam” EVA, WWII Veteran, of Hanover, on Saturday, November 2, 2019. He was  93. Survived by daughter Betty Anne and Richard Durrer of New Hamburg, sons Robert and Geri Eva of Kettle Point, Douglas and Mary-Catherine Eva of Hanover, and Ken and Karen Eva of Coburg. Special grandfather of Todd and Inez, Chris, Jeff and Jennifer, Carly and Ross, Lindsay and Colin, Bethany and Dean, Christy and Dan, Danielle, Carrie and Jesse, Mike and Jenn, and Dave. Great-grandfather of 17. Fondly remembered by his sister Vi Wilken-Aylwin of Hanover, Shirley Zimmer of Guelph and sister in law Elsie Eva of Waterloo. Predeceased by his beloved wife Annie “Anne” (nee Ferguson) Eva, granddaughter Stacey and his brother Wilfred. 
Visitation at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Hanover on Tuesday, November 5, 2019, from 10:30 AM until time of the Funeral Service at 12 noon. Interment in Hanover Cemetery, Hanover, Ontario.
Memorial donations to the Hanover & District Hospital Foundation or to St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. Arrangements entrusted to Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover.
