Susan Kathleen CATTO (née Quinn), of Kincardine, peacefully, surrounded by her family on Monday, December 2nd, 2019 at the age of 63. Cherished wife of Lloyd Catto. Loving mother of Olivia (Dustin) Freer of Ripley, and step-mother of Mitch Catto and Chris Catto both of Chesley. Dear grandmother of Tyler, Hailey, Shia, and Kierce. Beloved sister of Helen and Mike Riggin of Midland, Martin Quinn and Catherine Macleod of Goderich, Judy and Dale Baer of Arran–Elderslie, and Nancy and Tim Potter of Kincardine. Remembered by the Catto family, Ron and Betty Jean, Mervin and Jeanette, Nute, Donna and Fred Schuler, Don and Lorraine, Garry and Shirley, Helen Carr, Heather, Linda and Gerry Brooks, and Ken and Debbie. Missed by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by her parents Harold and Joyce Quinn (née Martin), in-laws Jim Carr, Wayne Catto and Marg Catto.
Lovingly remembered by dear friend and business partner of 33 years, Rick Skinner. Rick joined the Quinn Florist team in his teens, and eventually formed a partnership with Susan to take over Quinn Florist from her parents Harold and Joyce who started the business in 1947.
Susan loved her family, her garden and her dog Charlee.
Visitation will be held at Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, on Friday, December 6th, 2019 from 2 until 4 and 7 to 9 PM. The funeral service in memory of Susan’s life will take place at the Kincardine United Church on Saturday, December 7th, at 11 AM, with Pastor Judy Zarubick officiating. Final resting place, Kincardine Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine.
