Patterson, James (Age 70, Paisley)
December 9, 2019 9:46 amJames Arthur Edward PATTERSON of Paisley, on Friday, December 6, 2019, in his 71st year. He will be dearly missed by his loving wife of fifty-one years, Roberta (nee McTeer), and his sons Waylon and Jennifer, and Dwayne and Christie. Loving grandfather of Kaitlyn, Kandyce, Paul, Amanda, and Natalie; and great grandfather of Paul Jr. He will be sadly missed by his brothers and sisters Jack and Carol, Donna and Vern Legge, Bill and Judy, Julia McGregor, and Pat Robinson, brother-in-law Tom Christmann and his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Gordon and Luella (nee Collins) Patterson, brother Murray and Jane, sister Doreen Christmann, and brothers-in-law Harry McGregor and Jack Robinson. Jim loved his family, singing country music (especially Waylon Jennings), fishing and old John Deere tractors.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, December 10, 2019, from 7 to 9 PM at Knox United Church, 399 Goldie Street, Paisley. A Royal Canadian Legion memorial service will be held at 6:45 PM. A celebration of Jim’s life will be held at the church on Wednesday, December 11, 2019, at 1 PM. A reception will follow for family and friends at the Paisley Royal Canadian Legion, 338 Goldie Street. Spring interment Douglas Hill Cemetery.
Memorial donations to the Paisley Royal Canadian Legion Branch 295, Knox United Church or the Paisley Firemen’s Association would be appreciated by the family.
