Cherished daughter of Inez and the late Newman Pratt. Loving stepmother of Steve Fry and his wife Amy and Nana of Taryn, Tori and Kenzie. Dear friend of Paul Nelson. Dearest sister of Janice Pratt and her husband Howard Mitchell of Dornoch, Roy Pratt and his wife Peggy of Barrie, Richard Pratt and his wife Kristine, and Lyle Pratt and his wife Kerry, all of Durham. Cherished aunt of Paul MacKinnon, Deidre and her husband E.J. Hunt, Owen Pratt and his friend Courtney Brandt, Latrichia Pratt and her husband Dao Tran, Ash Pratt and his fiancé Brittney Anderson, Wesley Pratt and his wife Lisa Lorenz, Vicky Pratt and her husband Ryan Becker, and Rachael Pratt. Great-aunt of Emanuel MacKinnon, Graham Hunt, Emmett Hunt, and Milo Hunt. Niece of Wally and Edna Pratt, Jean Bovingdon, Raymond and Karen Morrison, Velma Morrison and Isobel Morrison. Karen remains in the heart of her special companion, Sugar.
Cremation has taken place. Friends may call at McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home, on Friday, December 20th from 2 until 4 and 7 to 9 PM. The memorial service celebrating Karen’s life will be held at the Durham Legion, 271 Bruce Street North, Durham on Saturday at 1 PM, with visitation being held prior to the service from 11:30 AM until 12:45 PM. Spring interment of cremated remains will be held at Trinity Anglican Cemetery.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Alzheimer Society, Durham Hospital Foundation or West Grey Library, Durham, would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home, Durham.
