Bentley, Stanley (Age 74, Listowel, Frmly Cranbrook)
February 10, 2020 10:23 amStanley BENTLY of Listowel, formerly of Cranbrook, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at Wingham and District Hospital on Friday February 7, 2020 at the age of 74. Stan enjoyed gardening, fishing, and sports, especially playing hockey. Beloved husband of Beverley (Wood) Bentley whom he married in 1965. Loving father of Dean and Lori Bentley. Special grandpa of Jessica and Josh Wesselink and John Bentley and Rolinda Nagel.
Dear brother of Lee and Pauline, Sharon Murphy and Danny and Iowen. His special little fury friend and Friday playmate, Ozzie, will sadly miss him. Brother-in-law of Ruthann Siemon and Bruce Wood. Fondly remembered by his Goddaughter Jackie McKee and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his parents Carl and Phyllis (Hendry) Bentley, brother Terry and sisters-in-law Lillian McNaughton, Shirley Askett and Eileen Gill.
In keeping with Stan’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or service. Spring interment in Elma Centre Cemetery, Atwood.
As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to Wingham and District Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
