Alvin HACKETT of Lucknow surrounded by loved ones in Val Caron, Ontario on February 24, 2020. Beloved husband of the late Barbara (Walker) who predeceased him in 2015. Dear father of his special daughter Sherri and Pat Gibbons of Val Caron, stepdaughters Koreen Hickey of Goderich, and Brenda and Daryl Stewardson of Goderich. Missed by his many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Survived by his brother D.A. and Evelyn Hackett of Waterloo and sister in law Zita Hackett of Kincardine. Predeceased by his parents Harry and Loretta Hackett, brother George, and sister Lavonne, and his stepchildren John, Jim, Karen and Heather.
Visitation will be held at MacKenzie & McCreath Funeral Home, Lucknow from 1 PM until the time of the funeral service at 2 PM, one hour prior, on Saturday, February 29, 2020. Reverend Peggy Kinsman officiating. Interment Greenhill Cemetery. Condolences and memorial information online.
