RosaAt her residence in Belmore, on March 28, 2020, Rosa Chambers passed away surrounded by the love of her family at the age of 78.

Loving wife of Jim Chambers. Cherished mom of Michael & Cassandra Chambers of Stratford, Brenda & Larry Boothby of Dorset, Pat Chambers of Teeswater and Ron & Janet Chambers of Milverton. Dear grandma of Connor, Kenzie, Derek, Byron, James, Ryan, J.J., Cory and Dana. Great-grandma of Adalyn, Nola, Kurt and Lincoln and was eagerly awaiting the arrival of her fifth great-grandchild. Sister and sister-in-law of Cesar & Ellen Vanneste, Eric & Janice Vanneste, Roland & Sandra Vanneste, Lea Vanneste, Jeannine Vanneste, Marion Vanneste, Merton & Beryce Chambers, Robert & Jeanne Chambers and Margaret LangfordRosa will be lovingly remembered by Rick & Dawn Poels and their children, Marcella, Jesse and Bailey, Sharon Chambers, Garry & Paula Pattenden and many nieces, nephews and extended family members. Predeceased by her parents Joseph & Demetria Vanneste, parents-in-law Samuel & Marguerite Chambers, one son in infancy, brothers Bill, Gerard and Frank Vanneste, sister Freida Spruytte, nephew Brian Vanneste and brothers-in-law Jerry Spruytte and Arnold Langford.

Rosa was born on January 20th, 1942 in Belgium. She married Jim on April 23, 1963 in Parkhill and they would have celebrated 57 years of marriage this April. She was a resident of Belmore for many years and an active member of McIntosh United Church. Rosa was the glue that held her family together being a devoted wife, mom and grandma. She was selfless, loving and kind-hearted and will be deeply missed by everyone whose lives she touched.

In light of current events, a private memorial service will be held at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham on Thursday, April 2nd, 2020. A public visitation and celebration of Rosa’s life will be held at the Belmore Community Centre at a later date. Final resting place, McIntosh Cemetery.
