March 7, 2020 9:57 amPatricia Agnes JARVIS (nee Perry) peacefully, at Huron Shores Hospice on March 4, 2020 at the age of 77. Beloved mother of Sandra and Geoff Farrell of Kincardine, Holly and Jim St. Antoine of Dorchester, Laura and Brian Ross of Kincardine and Kathleen and Glenn Wells of Innisfil. Grandma to Thomas & Becca Farrell, Jonathon & Siobhan Farrell, Jacob and Lindsay Farrell, Patrick Farrell, Shannon and Emily Ross, and Melissa Ross. G.G. To Everett, Arlo and Charlotte Farrell.
Also survived by siblings Mac and Marlene Perry, Joyce and Bill Beemer, Ray and Karen Perry, Linda and Don Davidson. In-Laws Bob Bowman, Gloria Perry, Hugh and Georgina Jarvis, and Sharon Jarvis. Pre-deceased by her husband Clarence Jarvis, parents Doug and Florence Perry, siblings Betty Bowman and George Perry, and grandson James Ross. Also missed by many nieces and nephews.
Pat was born near Ayr, Ontario, the third of seven children. In 1966, she and Clarence moved with their two young daughters to their farm near Tiverton. During their 29 years there, they added two more daughters and made many memories.
In 1995, they retired to Ripley, where Pat became greatly involved in the community, especially enjoying competing in the Fall Fair – both by herself and with her grandchildren. Gardening was another joy, and she made many friends in the Ripley Horticulture Club. Pat was known by many as the “Barbie Doll Lady” for her delicate doll clothes, and enjoyed many handcrafts including embroidery and quilting.
Throughout her life, Pat was very involved in church life, and enjoyed sharing her faith with others, including her family.
A Memorial service will be held at the Kincardine Baptist Church, 569 Queen Street Kincardine, on Saturday March 28, 2020. Visitation will begin at 12:30 with the service to follow at 2 pm.
Spring interment Ripley Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Huron Shores Hospice or Kincardine Baptist Church would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the MacKenzie & McCreath Funeral Home, Ripley.
