Hazel Leslie MITCHLER (nee Archer) peacefully, in Wetaskiwin, Alberta, on March 1, 2020, in her 94th year, formerly of Blyth and Clinton. Hazel was born on August 5, 1926, in Hammersmith, England to Leslie and Doris (Hall) Archer. Survived by daughter Valerie and Bernie Ulrich of Nova Scotia, son Wayne and Susan Mitchler of Alberta, daughter-in-law Mary (Mitchler) Charron, grandchildren Michelle and Wayne Fenton, and Trevor Mitchler and great-grandchildren Amelia, Brianna, Caleb, and Cody. Missed by step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren, friends and relatives both in Canada and England. Predeceased by husband Eric, son Brian Mitchler, daughter-in-law Mary Darlene Mitchler (Freiburger), and brother William Desmond (Des) Archer.
Hazel will be remembered in our hearts for her love of gardening, photography, reading, travel and hugs.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will take place on Sunday, March 8, 2020, at 1 PM at First Baptist Church, Clinton.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada or First Baptist Church Clinton would be appreciated.
