Bradley, Helen (Age 91, Walkerton)
April 27, 2020 10:00 amHelen Isabell Bradley (nee Dennie) of Walkerton peacefully passed away at SBGHC, Durham on Monday April 20, 2020 at the age of 91.
Beloved wife of the late Gerald Bradley (Brad) (1988). Dear mother of Sus Lamont (Stu) of Lake Rosalind, Guy Bradley (Helen) of Orillia and Barry (Dude) Bradley (Susan) of Kincardine. Proud grandma of Sheri Panabaker (Ruston) of Bellevue WA, Sarah (Davin Alexander) and Stuart (Jessica) McPherson of Kincardine and great grandma GG to Lily and Neil, Hugh and Rowan. She will be fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews. Helen was predeceased by 3 sisters and 3 brothers.
Helen devoted her time to family and stayed active in the community volunteering at the Walkerton Legion making fundraising meals for various events. She also volunteered at the local blood clinics and the Walkerton hospital gift shop and loved to donate knitting to the Christmas tree campaigns. Many will remember the neighbourhood and sport team pool parties, BBQs, and corn/pig roasts at ‘Bradley Heights’ over the years.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at a later date with interment in Walkerton Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 102, Walkerton or the Walkerton and District Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
