Bertha Addrene (Weeden) was born in Woodford, Ontario and moved to the Paisley area as a young girl. She married Roy Scott in 1945 and together they farmed for many years on the 12th concession of Bruce, where they raised their family of four children. Bertha grew up in a Godly family, loved her Lord, and served Him faithfully throughout her entire life. A lifetime of fellowship at the Immanuel Evangelical Missionary Church resulted in forever friendships. Faith, Family, Friends, and the Paisley community were most important to her. Retirement brought Bertha and Roy closer to town, both in Paisley and Port Elgin. Bertha found new opportunities to apply her gift of service for others. She volunteered with the Salvation Army and assisted seniors through Paramed Services.
Bertha treasured her family and they knew it! Each of them will carry cherished memories of Mom and Grandma.
