Shirley belonged to a number of Clubs and associations in Brussels.  She was a Sunday school teacher, a Brownie leader, an executive of the Brussels Figure Skating Club, a member of the Horticulture Society, Huron Lea Auxiliary, Lawn Bowling Club and Curling Club.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband George.  During their nearly 65 years of marriage, they had two children, Carol and Kevin of whom she was very proud. She was especially proud of her grandson Kurtis.  She will be greatly missed by her family and friends

She was predeceased by her parents, her brothers Clarence ‘Joe’, Glen ‘Doug’ and Barrie, her sister Dianne, her brother-in-laws Lynn Morrison and Wayne Becker and her son-in-law Simon McAully.
